Grading Update

Dear ULTimate Self Defense Parents,


Ultimate Self Defense is proud to announce that on Saturday February 16, 2008 at 11:00am we will be holding a belt grading.

The following students have become eligible for the following belts:

Joseph Fonte Yellow Belt
Joseph Hoti Orange Belt with Green Tip 1 & 2
Gianna Hoti Yellow Tip 1 & 2
Adam Kacperak Orange Belt with Green Tip 1&2
Taylor Moskowitz Orange Belt
Scott Moskowitz Yellow Belt with Orange Tip 1&2
Andrew Spall White Belt with Yellow Tip 1 & 2
Angela Tinari Orange Belt
Vito Tinari Orange Belt with Green Tip 1 & 2



You will be allowed to sit in the classroom and photograph and/or videotape your child, but seating will be limited. Fees for the grading have been posted on the bulletin board in the viewing area.

*Fees will be collected prior to the grading.

We are going to have another belt grading within the next month. Check back soon for updates.

Merry Christmas

Have a great Christmas with your family and friends, we look forward to seeing you guys at the end of this year and the beginning of next year. We are open Wednesday 12-26, Saturday 12-29, and we resume a normal schedule as of Wednesday 1-02.

School Closing for Thanksgiving

We will be closed on Wednesday November 21. We will resume classes on Saturday November 24.

Grapplers quest results

Unfortunately Sensei Sammi lost by points in a competitive match.

Next year we plan to include our kids classes in these tournaments as well.

Grapplers Quest

Good Luck to Sensei Sammi as he goes to compete at Grapplers Quest in Maple Tree New Jersey on Sunday 11-10-07.

Sensei Lou Loses at Grapplers Quest

Unfortunately Sensei Lou lost by tapout due to Triangle Choke at the Grapplers Quest Competition in Jersey City, but the match was very competitive. The experience was excellent though as we got to see kids, teens, women, and men from other schools compete at a pretty high level. We would like to include our students in these events, and we will make announcements regarding this in class at a later date.
